this is the email I got from a well meaning friend, so im sharing it with all my friends  here..

Dear pauline

I feel it is my duty to warn you and all members about a new Traffic
Exchange that was launched yesterday, that is nothing more than a
complete SCAM.

The name of the site is 'ClicknPutt' (http://www.clicknputt.com) and
should be avoided at all costs.

A friend unknowingly sent me a link to it yesterday and at first glance
it had the appearence of being a good, manual surf only, Traffic
exchange. It's unique selling point was that because it was a 'Paid
Membership Only' site, costing $19.99 to join, that all the members that were
surfing there were already qualified spenders. This sounded good to me,
so I paid my $19.99 to become a member and have all of theses people
with money to spend, surfing and looking at my sites.

It wasn't long though before I realized that all was not good, when I
suddenly came across a part of the site that actively taught and
promoted a method that members could use to cheat me and other members out of
those very important page views that I had just paid $19.99 to get.

As you can imagine I was very unhappy about this, as I'm sure you would
be if you'd just paid all that money for page views and website
visitors that you are never going to get.

So please, avoid this new Traffic Exchange at all costs as you'll just
be throwing your money down the drain. Also, if you could spread the
word, as I am doing now, in the forums, in your blogs and newsletters,
you could stop others making the same costly mistake that I did
yesterday.

Now please, go spread the word and warn others about this very nasty
SCAM.
