I respect your opinion and I give you the right to be you.  I believe that everyone has the right to be what they wish to be.  I talk about my faith to my family most of all because I love them and want them to know the security, joy and knowledge of what is to come.  It is up to them to discover Jesus for themselves, but it is a mandate from Jesus that I tell people about Him.  I will not push or pressure anyone, must of all my family. 

I also believe every one is equal to me just as I am equal to every one.  The only thing I wish is that all businesses would use English when they do business here.  When I don't know what they are selling, I can't spend my money.

Hello and thank you for posting this forum!

I am not going to comment on the man that was convicted not what the judge said in particular! What I am going to comment about is "Freedom"!

I also remember as a child that we were allowed to say the "Pledge of Allegiance" without the worry of offending anyone! We were also allowed to pray in school if we chose to do so, and talk about God in public schools!

Things nowdays have gotten so far out of hand that it is ridiculous! We do not have the values in America like we use to, kids no longer have the respect for their elders as they use to, kids have no clue about God for the most part, and values have been thrown out the window!

We use to be able to say what we wanted to say and not have any reprecussions for it! Now if you say what you want about the government or the President, etc you have to worry about having the FBI on your tail or being forced to make an apology for having your own thoughts or mind. What happened to our God given right of "Freedom of Speech"? It only seems we are allowed to say what we want to as long as it coincides with the Government otherwise pay the price.

FREEDOM...it is starting to come a thing of the past. Look at how the "Patriot Act" gives the government the right to tap our phones, enter our homes without permission and without having just cause, or anything else they see fit. Are we talking about Russia now or the United States? Hummmmm, I have to wonder sometimes!

A statue of the 10 Commandments had to be removed from a Federal building because someone was offended by it....Come On! I do not understand why we can not all co-exist in the same state, city, or country and have respect for each others beliefs, ideas, thoughts, opinions and feelings. We are all God's children first of all, but having and giving RESPECT for our fellow man should not be that hard of a thing to do. A little respect for others can go a long way, and it will allow us all to live in peace, love and happiness!

I could go on , but I will stop here now! I pray that things start to turn around soon because if not this country is going to hell in a hand basket very quickly!
