Hello David !

I guess that explains why you are in the business you are in. Have you ever thought that was God's way of telling what your destiny was to be?

Hello Nick,

Chronic Fatigue syndrome is actually one of the things that caused me to retire from teaching.

It is also characterized by a continuous fever that runs from 99 up to 101, acid reflux, heartburn, sleep deprivation, night terrors, hair loss, and weight gain. The first thing that medical doctors do is send you to a psychiatrist who doesn't have a clue.

The Rheumatologist is the doctor that finally diagnosed it. She treated me with mega doses of vitamin D. It has helped more than any of the "medicines" I researched the effects of being vitamin D deficient and they directly paralell the effects of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I am allergic to milk, so I had gone a life time of being deficient because the only vitamin D I ingested was contained in my calcium supplement. That was not enough.

The medicines from my many physicians only made the situation worse. I've weaned myself of all medicines and am now just taking my vitamins, limiting salt, sugar, fried foods and exercising. I am still  in physical therapy 3 times weekly. It has been a year since the symptoms started.

You are posting some very interesting forums.

Lucy

Oh Lucy ! What can I say? I went through three back operations and have a little idea of pain, but not like you. It is true that you think you have it bad till you find someone who endures more than you. My prayers are with you my friend.
