Hi Marilyn!

I wrote this when I was on the wrong path and eventually found my way when I made friends with a Rabbi, this man was so knowledgeable about the way of life, I wanted to be like him and I guess some of it must have rubbed off - Amen to God and his mysterious ways!

Taken Path

You are the sun,

which can bring on the light

You take the darkness,

and make it bright

 

The grass seems greener,

as a path is made

The warmth still comes through,

in the darkest of shade

 

I find I can breath,

no matter how deep the water

And touch the very sun,

without any bother

 

A shield of protection,

surrounds my being

And I trust my instincts,

no need for me seeing

 

You haven given me the space,

to be able to grow

And with this freedom,

you keep my heart aglow.

   Some really fine advice. It just seems that sometimes the path some people take is one of destruction. It is hard to not step in at that point.
