Hello everyone!
I have an update for you.
Jeff, Jerimiah and I went to Duragno last night, for the Student Ambassador Presentation. There were about 150 students there, with their parents. Of those kids, only 40 will be selected to go.
Needless to say, I faxed in his application and deposit, bright and early this morning. The next step is the interview. We will be contacted by the program to set up a personal interview for Jerimiah. After all the candidates are interviewed, the 40 kids will be selected.
Jerimiah is so jazzed about this. You should've seen his face, while we were watching the slide presentation of all the places he will get to go. I don't think his eyes could've gotten any bigger! I think he was ready to get on the plane right then and there. LOL
I really hope he is selected to go. (If he's not chosen, all donations will be returned. I am using PayPal to keep track.)
I have until the spring to raise the money for him. They leave in the summer of 2007.
As of today, there have been a total of $16.00 in donations. So, if you would help me spread the word, I would greatly appreciate it. The total price tag on the trip is $6234.00.

The Colsseum

Mt. Vesuvius
