“We are always complaining that our days are few, and acting as though there would be no end to them.”

– Lucius Annaeus Seneca, Roman philosopher

That is ironic, I've never thought of it that way.  There's a Bible quote that goes something like...if men know when to plant and when to harvest, and know the time of day by the sun, why don't they know what time it is in their own life?

It is a good quote, Bogden.
I don't complain. I don't have it in me.
I thank God that He allows me to get up each morning.
Each hour we live is precious for we don't ever know
when our time will come. If we live each day like it is our last,
we never have regrets that we have wasted it.

I ponder this question often, not only in myself but in others especially as I seem to have to "hurry up and wait" so often.

I remember fondly my great aunt who was very adamant that her Lord had promised she should have four score and seven years on this earth and she lived every day that I can remember working towards earning the rewards of that promise.
I would often call home to find out she had gotten out of what I had been told was her sick bed to go take care of the "sick old people".

She got her four score and seven years and then went on to claim her reward.

Thank you for the opportunity to remember and honor Aunt Sis-Charlcey Jefferson, I love her and miss her a lot.

Hi Bogdan!

How about living each day as if tomorrow may never come?

If all we really have is today, this moment in time, then we should be living life to the fullest each moment of every day!

How many of us REALLY do that?

Just more food for thought!  Have a blessed day!

Judy
