For email spam, if you are using a client application such as MS Outlook or Outlook express, I would recommend switching to Mozilla Thunderbird. There's a free download here. Thunderbird has a built in learning system to detect and file away spam and it works really well. It also has a phishing protection system to notify you if it thinks something is a scam. You can also have SpamAssassin installed on your mail server or use a program that only lets you receive email from people you have given the OK. I can't remember what it's called but if interested I could probably find it. Another thing you could do is set up a yahoo account and forward your emails there because yahoo filters based on IP address and not the domain name since domain names are almost always spoofed. That's why you won't be able to make a list of spammer domains because any spammer is going to spoof their domain. You have to look up their domain by looking at the headers and do a whois lookup on the ip address but I leave that up to yahoo or thunderbird. We also have a do not call list here in Canada although I think I heard that you have to register every couple of years because it expires.
