Thank you for the invitation to your forum. 

Would I change to make 1% of strangers happy?  I understand when you say this is challenging for physical appearances.  I received a very nasty burn on my left arm when I was 18months old.  It is not a pretty sight, strangers feel awkward when they see it, doctors have tried to convince me to have it fixed.  The scar does not bother me and is a part of who I am.  Also, the scar is only visible when I wear short sleeves so I can cover it whenever I wish.  For these reasons I would not change my appearance.  However, had the burn been on my face, I would probably think differently, I just thank the Lord that I am not faced with this dilema, and my heart goes out to people who are.

Change my religion?  My political beliefs?  Divorce my husband and move into a commune?   I know I'm being silly.  I just don't get it.  If you were presented by a stranger ....you don't know from Adam or Eve.....what would you change?

I change when something POSITIVE is presented and usually I have examined the choice and I ASK GOD.......
