Fundamental Belief Number Two
9/5/2006 9:55:51 PM

Hi My Adlandpro Friends, I hope you all had a super Labor Day Weekend with your families and barbeques and whatnot! I went over to a friend's house and had pizza (which eventually gave me heartburn). He's got a pool table which he reconstructed on his livingroom floor, and we played a few rounds of nine ball.

This particular belief is one that is hard for me to comprehend having a finite mind. But I see the evidence of the three working in my life every day.

2. Trinity Consisting of One God:
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons. God is immortal, all-powerful, all-knowing, above all, and ever present. He is infinite and beyond human comprehension, yet known through His self-revelation. He is forever worthy of worship, adoration, and service by the whole creation. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 4:4-6; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 Tim. 1:17; Rev. 14:7.)

Jim,

I echo your words exactly,

I really can't say more

God is one entity, but since mere humans are incapable of understanding they split the Almighty into 3 (ouch!).  The Lord does reveal himself in many ways because he does want our limited minds to understand.

Thanks for sharing Kate! The other amazing thing to me about the Godhead is the fact that the three entities act individually, have separate functions yet have equal power.

Roger, thanks for your input! I'm kindof disappointed with the response to this forum. I'm still going to go thru with it though.
