Can I add something?  They (the big "THEY") just said Pluto isn't a planet, it's an asteroid.  Since it was discovered 80 years ago, Pluto has only made  one-third of a revolution around the sun...while school kids have wasted time memorizing it as a planet!

Technically, Pluto, Charon and Ceres (a large asteroid) are now considered "dwarf planets".  I guess the main reason Pluto lost it's planetary status is because it's orbit crosses Neptune's orbit on occasion.  So, now the order is Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, PLUTO, and then Neptune.

Time to rewrite the schoolbooks!  They were out of date long before this, anyway.

I like stuff that's out of date.  I used to do my homework with my mom's old 1950 Funk and Wagnall's encyclodpedias that she bought one at a time when she was in school.  I should call dibs on those before she passes on...yeah I'm really sensitive!  She keeps telling me she's gonna croak soon anyways so I'm just agreeing with her.

We had some more recent encyclopedias but the F and W had shorter explanations for everything so of course I used those!
