Hi Kathy, Thanks for the post. Marty, remember the two great commandments our Lord gave us.

Love the Lord you God with all your heart and all your soul and all you mind. This is the first and great commandment and the second is like unto it, love your neighbor as you love yourself. Mt 22:37

You are absolutely right to begin forgiving yourself and stop being so hard on yourself. Thereby we find it much easier to stop complaining and criticizing about our neighbors. Once you do this it is like a door is opening and the Holy Spirit enters into you heart. Thus the positive and joyous thoughts (creativity) juices begin flowing. You then seek the good which you can do for your fellow humans rather than being judgemental.

Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I Cor. 15:57

Hello Kathy,

Great topic. You are very special and an inspiration.  You Go Girl:

I mentor of mine once told me, "It doesn't matter what anyone else does, it only matters what you do."  That simple comment has revolutionized my thinking and as a result my life.

Here, here, to removing the planks from our own eyes and not worring about what is someone elses. It leads to clear vision. In my experience whenever I am critical of myself or others it is because I am not seeing the situation clearly.  In addition, I like to hit what I am shooting at and I hit my targets a lot more often when I can see them.

This sounds like a worthwhile exercise to me.

Hey Kathy, who is Catherine Marshall?  I'd like to read this book.  What is the name of it?
