Hi Marilyn,

I wish the cliches were true and that Leos have an easy time to "snap out" of a period of isolation because of our so called gregarious natures!
When we get into isolation - we get into it Big Time - we dont do anything by halves. LOL.

Firstly, I agree that it helps to offer an explanation for your "hibernation" to your friends - you dont have to go into detail and, secondly, that it is good to talk it through.  If you have it badly, I suggest a professional before a friend, as they dont take your problem personally  and you may well get more objective help from them - it tends to affect your friends too much sometimes for them to be able to give good advice.  Your isolation may hurt them too.

But most importantly - keeping yourself busy doing things - something creative, like painting, cooking (for pleasure) sewing, or some other craft can be an enormous help.  It keeps your mind occupied and also gives you something to show for it at the end, which in turn gives you an incentive to show it to your friends and creep back into your world with something new to show for yourself.  It is no coincidence that the old mental institutions used to use "occupational therapy" (basket making to you!LOL) to help their patients.

Thanks for letting me express my view here Marilyn,
Love
Jenny
