Your allegiance to the Lord should be your main concern. Kathy, Without a firm commitment to fulfilling your destiny in Christ, you'll wander through life aimlessly, hoping and wishing life would be better. Therefore, chart your life's course based on God's will for you. As a Christian, remaining committed to followiing God's will for your life requires cultivating faithfulness, which is an aspect of the fruit of the spirit( Galatians 5:22-23). Along with love, joy, peace, longsuffering, goodness, meekness and temperance, faithfulness is a Christ-like attrbute. If you want to be more like Christ, then make developing the fruit of the spirit a priority. For example, when you're tempted to hate others and operate in strife, make a decision to love them instead. Choose to be self-controlled when everything within you wants to "go Off". Allow the traits of meekness and temperance to prevail when others get on your nurves. Do good even when you've been mistreated or falsely accused. No one ever said it would be easy to live like Christ, but consider the results. When you're faithful to respond to circumstances God's way, you allow Him the opportunity to work things out on your behalf. Believe me, God can do a better job at avenging you than you could ever do if you were to take matters in your own hands. It takes Character to respond to negative situations in the same manner as Jesus. This is where cultivating faithfulness comes in.Faithfulness say's "No matter what happens to me, I am Committed to respond like Jesus. Your Friend Raymond Shinault
