Hi Kathy,
Thanks for the invitation!
This is a great quote.
Personally I try to stay away from people who have no aspirations of their own. Not to say I have nothing to do with them, because I have many friends who are satisfied with a J.O.B., I have learned not to talk with them about my business or what I am doing.
People who have vision, and are able to think outside the box, are perplexed by those of us who have no vision and are not able to think outside the box, but we have to remember that we are all individuals, and we don't all think alike!
When my friends or family start ragging me about my business; I ask them do you know why 409 is called 409, and when they say no I explain to them that the person who invented 409 tried 408 times before he was successfull now we have 409!
This is also one of the reasons we are taught to associate with like minded people! Not only do the motivational speakers teach us this, but the Bible does also! The word says "Come out from among them, and be ye separate"! Although this pretains to believers and unbelievers, when applying the principles to our daily lives it encompasses all that we do!
I know where I am going, and how I'm going to get there so at this point if I never get there it won't be from a lack of trying1(lol)!
