Hello Everybody!
I felt so bad about exposing the poetry scam to those that had such high hopes that I spent the weekend investigating into legit poetry contests and a place to show off your great work that I found this Poet Sanctuary which is legit and I joined it first and made sure it would be exceptable to my Adland friends. They even point out the companies that are running these scams at the bottom of this post. I truly wish this gives my fellow poets some glimmer of hope and I wish you all the best - Peace and Love to you all
Souls of imagination invited into one home, Where each owns thoughts and opinions freely roam. Ink and electrons quickly filling up the web, Onto paper and monitor's deep emotions are shed. Telling of hopes and life's destined dreams, Heartbreak with remorse and passion that streams. Tears of the unwilling, darkness' frightened calls, All held within the chambers of The Poet Sanctuary's walls.

Top Warning Signs Of A Scam Poetry Contest Unusually large cash awards (ex., $58,000), sponsor tries hard to sell you products that incorporate your work, like anthologies and plaques, is free to enter, but 'winners' have to pay a high price for a copy of the book, turns up a "Scam Warning" page when you search for it with Google. **The Poet Sanctuary does not**, they have low standards and are not choosy about who gets published, you win a prize but have to pay to attend a convention to receive it, only short poems (25 lines or less) are accepted - the better to pack them into an anthology (Example: Poetry.com).
