If people would take all these "legends" letter by letter we shouldn't work more than a week or two a year! LOL
As much as I heared from my grandparents, and still remember, there are certain thigs not alowed to be done on speciffic days, or part of the days. Traditions are different from region to region here, but generaly the same! In fact as far as I'm concerned, I worked all the month long except the Sundays of caurse.

Our Orthodox Calendar is full of holidays all the year long.
I'll post soon August, which has some real holidays; meaning they are very much respected nowerdays too all over the country! But that do not mean we are not going to work!

When I see you I'm always glad and sure that I'm doing the right thing here. For sure you are interested in my post! About some traditions and legends I have forgot even myself, being so many and since my grandys are gone. All these are better kept alive in the country side, but in the citys where life is more speedy and crowded!
