Hi Marilyn, Great information. I prefer to believe that Lincoln and other Great Leaders thought of failure as a simple lesson they were meant to learn on their journey to Greatness. Like a roadmap to success, we may take a few wrong turns and either call it failure and quit out of frustration, or realise we can still achieve the success we truely desire and deserve by finding our way back on the correct road and continuing our journey. Lincoln didn't believe he was failing, just learning how to get it RIGHT. Many Blessings to everyones Success Valerie

Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm and hard work never kills anyone, but, very few like Lincoln and other great leaders have tried to prove it.  Learning from our failure and experiences will definately lead us to the right direction and as we say, " if you stop learning, you stop leading".
