Well, I liked the "picture board" at the top also. I think the change came about because of Linda Carrols' forum "shimmy, shimmy, wait, wait...."

A lot of people were complaining of the slow loading pages with the previous picture board. With the single one the speed has increased dramatically!
Also, there are soo many people here that are reserved to dial up. We have to think about them to. Many have regressed to other communities because they just couldn't get any work done here.

Bogdan is constantly listening to the complaints and desires of all of us. And, I would guess, "running himself ragged" trying to please all. I think I had rather have the speed than all the pictures at once. In my opinioin. I liked when we had the names of people online in the left margin. With 2 pics at a time on the right. The pages were fast to load, and you could still see who was online. Plus, you could invite one person you saw in a pic. then "back up" and go to the other persons profile. So you never really "lost" someone you wanted to invite.

YES the SLIDESHOW above is gone..... TOOOOOOO VALUABLE to post pictures of members... IT is way better to POST advertising in this area. Like it or not that is what happened. The individual pics are all you will see until next goodie comes along.
