Yes, Kathy, I clicked the link and am reporting back although I must say the experiment is a complete mystery to me. I can do a few things online but have no idea what this is. Anyhow, I sent you my phone number yesterday as you requested. Wondering if you still need help. I realize that it is the weekend and that I didn't exactly say to call anytime but I would appreciate an email. Thanks, Elaine leoetal2000@yahoo.com

It seems that the only one benefitting from this "experiment" will be our Adland friend.  Every click will make him money.  I don't know about you, but I don't like being used.

Thanks Ted. You bring up a good point.

In fact, I won't be the only one benefitting from this. True, I stand to make some money...the thing we don't know is how much.

But let's say we all have an Adland Pro friend who is in dire straits and needs emergency cash. Instead of everyone trying to get that person signed up for this MLM and that matrix, or just throwing money at them, wouldn't it be useful to be able to say "if you place an Adsense ad on your ALP webpage, the networking power of this community could generate $X for you in about a week"?

If it turns out that few people respond or that the PPC rate isn't worth the effort, then we'll know that. But so far this summer I've seen at least 3 Adland friends on the verge of life-crushing poverty being foisted upon with programs that take months or years of downline building to get anywhere. This is a reasonable solution, but it's not worth providing as a solution if the results aren't there. Thus, we place the thing out there, and see what results. Then we'll know.

Just so you know, Saturday produced 27 page views, 9 clicks, and $4.15. And I'd be willing to bet it didn't cost anyone a dime, or more than 2 seconds of their time.

33,715 Adland members (because the Adsense publisher can't click their own ads, or risk removal from the program) x an average $0.54 per click would conceivably yield $18,206.10. The question here is will it, and what sort of actual response can a person reasonably expect?

You're certainly under no obligation to participate. The irony is choosing not to participate is part of the overall data anyway...thus you have participated by not clicking. If you feel that this would be "using" you, then that is also useful information for the purposes of the project. So thank you for your contribution.

Best,
SB

Hi Kathy and Steve,

I have already done my due diligence, and would gladly do it again!

Steve you are so right, and I have pondered everytime someone is in dire straits how we all would be able to help!  Even those of us who are not financially able to help would be able to do a couple of clicks!  The only catch is that I think you can be thrown out of the program for soliciting clicks.

For me personally, everytime I go to a site and there's ads I click just to see what is being offered, along with the realization that it would help someone out!

9 clicks huh, and how many friends to you have between you?  Oh well there are many of us who work on sunday's so today will be a better day!(lol)
