For the last several weeks, my daily meditation and affirmations have been focused on finding more BALANCE in my life. When I saw the signature of a life coach who posted to a discussion list I belong to regarding The Secret movie (You have seen that movie, right?), her signature mentioned that she had joined a new company that offers BALANCE of mind and body, so since I am actively seeking more balance in my life, I sent her an email to ask about this new company... Often someone asks me how I market online and how I find new customers and business partners online. My answer is always just "networking." I think it is important to make myself available and approachable so that everyone knows I am a real person living here in Michigan and enjoying online marketing through networking. A very simple way to network online is to find a message board or forum or discussion list and simply PARTICIPATE. Ask questions, offer advice, get to know the members, visit their websites and offer genuine comments to someone you want to get to know. Just be yourself. Over time the members of the online community will be attracted to you and they will want to know what you do. Make yourself irresistable just by being a "real person." When you choose a subject that genuinely interests you, can will naturally want to participate. Do you watch the news on TV and read the newspaper every day? I stopped watching the news and reading the newspaper more than 15 years ago and I don't miss it at all. Actually, I record any TV shows I want to watch so I can speed through commercials and news ads (telling me to be sure and watch the 11 o'clock news so I can see some horrible thing that happened. No thanks!). A really important thing to remember is that what we are exposed to the last 30 minutes or so before we go to sleep is what our brain focuses on while we are sleeping. So, just before bedtime is a great time to meditate or read something motivational. Remove negative influences from your life and watch your life become more positive. We are seeking 80,000 people who are willing to be part of an experiment to see if we can shift the world's perception of "good and evil" to a perception of love. It won't cost you any money and will take only seconds a day. We believe we are all one mind and that if enough people (critical mass) could shift their own personal perception--change their minds--about the existence of evil, then the whole planet could shift into a perception of love. We also believe that world peace begins with each individual achieving a state of peace within themselves. We can begin to do that for ourselves by becoming aware of the "negative" influences in our lives and choosing consciously to eliminate or shift those influences. What we propose is a two step process as follows: STEP 1: Whenever you perceive that a negative event is occurring, either by witnessing it in person or hearing about it in the media, say the words "ONLY LOVE PREVAILS." This phrase sends "positive" energy to the perceived negative event as you stand in non-judgment as an observer. It will also help shift the perception that for good to exist, evil must also exist (polarity theory). As your perception shifts, you will perceive less and less negativity. This process therefore acts as a barometer to measure your own sense of inner peace. The less negativity you perceive, the less you will find yourself needing to affirm "Only Love Prevails". STEP 2: Become aware that the news media has a profound impact on your perception. Do whatever you need to do to protect yourself from exposure to "negative" or fear-based stories in the media. This might mean that you filter your exposure to the news media and become very selective about what you do read or watch or listen to or it might mean giving up watching or listening to newscasts or reading newspapers altogether. Just bringing your awareness to the negativity that permeates the news media, however, will help shift your consciousness. We feel that if enough people (critical mass) stopped exposing themselves to the "negative energy" generated by the news media and repeated "ONLY LOVE PREVAILS" whenever exposed to a report of an incident that appeared to be negative that we could shift the consciousness of the planet to a perception that ONLY LOVE PREVAILS. This would be a giant step toward achieving a state of inner as well as outer peace. In order for us to know when we reach our goal of 80,000, we are keeping track of number of people who are participating as well as the demographics (how many in each country). Following is a report from reporter Will Arntz: Opening night this month I attended a preview of The Peaceful Warrior - the film based on Dan Millman's book, Way of the Peaceful Warrior. In short, it is an excellent film presentation of a wonderful book. You gotta see Nick Nolte as Dan's surly, snarly mentor. Please know this film faces a challenge like BLEEP did - theaters don't think there's an audience. But they believe Box Office.       Lots of helpful information for us all!

      I want to ask your opinion about something and anyone else who reads this may give theirs too.

      I advised a woman the other day who is in a message board with me to watch THE SECRET. She is going through a rough time in her life right now and I thought it would be inspiring to her. This message was posted on a group board which is mostly homeschool parents. I have had two responses so far back to the board .. questioning THE SECRET.. (these ppl never got past the intro). They were questioning weather it went against "Christian Doctrine", and the other said "god is the only true light in the world ", and started quoting bible verses back. She also said this was from a religious group ("although they will tell you they are not a group" she says) named the Kattlah (sp?). It hurt me because I consider myself a Christian, and would not recommend something with ill intentions to anyone. All I said to her is you can watch it if you want to, and interpret it the way you want to.. What do you or anyone else reading this forum think about what they had to say?

Hey Robin, Thanks for your comments here. As you know each of us has our own path to follow, so it is not up to us to "convince" anyone to believe as we believe. A wonderful quote I heard from from Wayne Dyer may be appropriate for you to keep in mind... "Your opinion of me is none of my business." What that means to me is that it should be of no consequence to us what others think of us. We are each here for our own experiences. When the student is ready, the teachers will appear. I would not be concerned with what the other members of the message board said. Rather, just know that you have offered information from sincerity and those who are seeking this information will welcome it. Many blessings.

       It just hurt me and upsets me that there are such "closed minded" "scared" people in this world. Scared to even go past the promo of THE SECRET.. because obviously they thought it was "bad" or "evil".. I have no clue... O well, if they didnt watch it.. it is their loss! Thanks Girl!
