Hi Kathy!

It is good to be skeptical, to avoid being scammed, but on the other hand... It is skeptisim that makes it hard for network marketers to build their businesses. Skeptisim is what leads to rejection.

I have been making money from home for several years, doing various things. So, it is possible.

Making money at home takes work, which I think, most people do not comprehend. I think that the majority associate working from home with money for nothing. Businesses don't build themselves.

The key is to find a business that you can get behind, heart and soul, and work it. Find a good product, and make sure you use it yourself. Your own personal testimony is worth more to a prospect than any web site documentation. If you don't believe in what you are promoting, no one else will either.

Have an awesome day!

Hi Kathy,

Skeptical, yes, most are, and rightfully so since so few ever succeed in any MLM or other home business.  Sad as this fact is, it only perpetuates the down side of home businesses, so once the mind is set that most will fail, few will ever try, and that is the sad reality of being skeptical, it prevents a person from taking a serious look at any home business, especially when presented as most are, being a get rich deal.

You have to be skeptical when looking for any home or traditioanl business, but don't let it hold you back.  Remember, negative news travels fast, while postiive news travels slowly, and this we cannot change.  When we do hear good news,  sadly it is full of hype and hoopla, and this turns off most people these days, especially the ones who have never tasted success at a home business.  Anyone who has been in this industry for a time knows what I am talking about.  Too much hype and hoopla will create even more skeptical people, so the lesson is, tone it down if you want people to take you seriously.

Simply put, most do not know how to succeed, nor do they know how to choose the right company to represent.  I've researched thosands of companies and products over the years, and what I learned is that nothing has changed in the way most home businesses are presented.  Most are promoted as get rish quick deals, and this is where the problem is, they all look the same after a while, and when this happens, it breeds more skeptism, so the cycle continues.

There are many good solid reputable companies in the home business arena, so search them out, one by one, but make sure you choose one that has products or services you can truly believe in, based on quality, value, market and last, the compensation plan.  I have always believed that success comes to those who choose the best products and services to market, not to those who put the money first, as in the best get rich quick get excited deals.  You must remember to be professional and business like if you want to get the attention of like minded serious people, so forget the hype and hoopla if you want to make it in your home business is my lesson of the day. Good luck to all, Mike

Hi, Kathy,

Thanks for the invitation. Like you, I get quite a few questions regarding internet marketing, networking, and my personal success through use of programs and ventures offered on the ‘net’. I’m now getting cornered and questioned by co-workers who are wondering what I’m doing that’s enabled me to go from working 40 hours per week to 30 hours, and all without breaking a sweat over bills, rent, etc. (I’m hoping to be 100% self-employed within the next 4 or 5 months).

Although I try and answer their questions… nobody hears that I have a set schedule for marketing. A set schedule for replying to emails. A set schedule for follow-up phone calls. A set schedule for shopping for office supplies. A set schedule for handing out flyers, business cards, etc. A set schedule for postal mass mailings, etc.  They NEVER seem to hear that I’m quite disciplined in my routine and that I actually WORK at home. (They don't hear that I'm NOT heading home to sit around in my robe, eat bon-bons, and watch court TV) They ignore that there is actual effort involved.

So, can you make money on the internet? Definitely. Can you make an income that allows you to work solely from home? Yep! People do it everyday. Is it worth the time, effort, and sacrifice? Anything worth having, usually IS!

Miracles & Blessings,

Robin

Hi Kathy!  Thanks for the invite!

And thank you to Robin for that excellent truth on what really goes on behind a home biz owners front door during the day.  I too have a set time schedule in which I allow so much time for advertising - responding to emails - checking stats.....etc.

It's the only way I've found to stay organized enough to get everything I need to done.....AND still be able to keep moving forward in my business.  It's too easy to get wrapped up in one aspect of your business. If your not somewhat structured in how you operate......before you know it......you've spent all day on one thing and you've really not gotten anywhere in respect to progress......

Now for Kathy's ?'s.........

Is Network marketing is really a good way to earn a living?

In a word?  YES!

*  What other industry can you start a business for so litttle - benefit from work that you (and the work of your downline) performed only 1 time - Recieve so many tax breaks - Have your Lexus being paid for - Go on fabulous cruises/vacations - take 6 months off from working AND STILL GET PAID!?

WHY WOULD ANYONE EVER WANT TO PUNCH A TIME CLOCK?

Can you really succeed at making a real income by staying at home and working a home based business?

Only if you believe you can..........

~ Drummerboy Keep on thinking positive…..thank God for everything that’s good in your life……..and make it a great week!
