"It Was Just A Thought"
It came to me in a dream
An idea, an inspiration,
To try to make a difference
In this world, in someone's life,
To give hope, raise self esteem and,
Change a way of thinking,
Instill pride where there is none
Replace sadness with joy and
Alleviate the pain of hunger and isolation
Just by offering a helping hand to
Someone in need, a neighbor or friend
One person at a time each and every day
What a difference I could make
If everyone shared this thought
It could change the world, but
It was just a thought!
