The appointment is tommorow.  We are goign to drive up tonight so that we don't have to wake up the little man and then not let him be able to eat anything.  We are going to get a room in a Hotel about 20 minutes away from the hospital.  I looked for 2 days to find one that we could afford..

Thank you to everyone who is praying for the little guy I will let you know when we get back what the doctor had to say this time.  I am praying for the MRI to be all clear and the Neurosugeon to say he really doesn't need to see us again.  And not call and change his mind this time.

Thanks you and God Bless you,

Christy

Gene,

Thank you.  The scan went well.  Unless the neurosurgeon changes his mind we are through!!  Yeah!! No more 3 1/2 hour trips to the Children's Hospital.

They sedate children my son's age (22 1/2 mths.) to scan them.  The first MRI showed enlarged Retale (?spelling) Robbins spaces.  Which translates to enlarge fluid filled spaces around the viens in his brain.  This scan showed that the spaces have not enlarge any more than they were. Which means he is FINE.  He has what is called "Prominate Vertale Robbins Spaces", a rare but harmless condition/abnormality/ variation on normal.  What ever you want to call it; the Neurosurgeon said to forget about it, because the little guy is fine.  And the spaces will not cause him any problems and will not require surgery.
