I just want to exspress my appreciation.

I haven't had this one pounced on me yet.

However I had someone call here to ask about my son's credit card while he was in Iraq.

It was not in this exact format, but they did want to know information about his card and I told them he would have to call them back.

They tried a couple of different times after that with additional calls, but seemed to give up when they were told repeatedly that he would have to call them back.

Thank you for taking the time to post this.  I had a similar incident with pay pal.  There I also learned that the companies NEVER ask you for information.

Good rule:  "I will have to call you back, and I have the phone number on my bill."  Thank them and quickly hang up before they try to catch you off guard.
