I said stop paying monthly fees, but I know there are things that you have to pay for on a monthly basis... home utilities, mortgage or rent, car payment, web hosting, etc. Those are monthly neccessities and are not what I am talking about here.
There are hordes of activities on line and off that have monthly fees associated with them. Many times they are linked to MLM programs and other membership type money-making schemes or deals.
