This is a very interesting forum you have started here, and one that should have alot of different opinions and ideas.
I think people first join Adland for the great advertising of one's business you get through Adland...there are the largest advertising site on the web right now.
Why do people join the community and the forums? is another question. I think people join the forum community and stay because of a few different reasons;
1 - the wonderful people within our community and the friends that they make here. There is no other community that can even compare to this one.
2 - I think people learn alot about Internet marketing and advertising here through the forums, there's alot of valuable information, especially for the newbies.
3 - People also can learn and find out about many other things here as well, such as blogging, website design, HTML, health issues, alternative medicine, and so much more.
4 - The recognition that people get from forums, such as The POTW, the Spotlight, the Parade of Stars, just to name a couple. This helps people's moral and overall well-being by making them feel good.
I think there are other reasons, but I believe these are probably the main reasons that keep people here at Adland, and get others to join. This is some people's second home! to come to and see, and talk with, their friends, and enjoy reading so many wonderful forums.
This is just my opinion...it will be intgeresting to see what others think as well.
