Speaking of stolen stuff, someone stole my gazing ball for 10 days last summer then it was returned to my property early one morning with scratch marks all over it. (A gazing ball is a big shiny reflective ball on a pedestal, it's a garden ornament.) Now I put it in my bathroom, I saw a pic in magazine of a gazing ball in a bathroom so it must be okay to see one's reflection while going potty.
