I guess nobody has figured out how to make the pop machines theft proof yet. When I worked at a psych. hospital I frequently saw patients shaking the pop machines trying to get them to vend the pop; sticking their hands up in the machines; laying on the floor reaching underneath the machines???maybe looking for dropped coins. When I told the vending machine man that patients were shaking the snack machine and snacks were dropping out for them, he just shrugged his shoulders and said he would start charging more for the snacks. Great solution don't you think.....not!
