Georgios, Catching someone new right when they are posting is definitly a positive. You know that even tho they are new, they will become active and develop a relationship with many. How many thousands, join but never participate. I have said, you can have 10,000 friends on your list with no communication or you can have 25 friends that are working their business, will help you, be a sounding board, and post good forums. Your conclusion is yet to be determined. When I calculate the responses here, one category will be, longetivity here at Adlandpro vs. attitude toward pop ups.

Georgios, Your last comment about popup abuse has already proven itself here. I have deleted some posts. With the friends list, we knew who was visiting. Now we cannot control who posts. However, forum owners now have to be diligent to monitor. No more making a forum and then walk away.

Adlandpro spamers who steal others forums, beware. With pop ups, they will be spotted. Bogdan, is there any regulations that protect our forums.

Otherwise, yes, they will need to monitor the topics created. I feel that if someone makes a topic they should finish what they started - not just 'walk away'. Kenneth, Good that you are reading this forum as are many. To monitor ones forum is to see when someone changes the subject as happened here day before yesterday. This was handled in a kind way and that person will be getting lots of help from us to help them understand Adlandpro proceedures. Personal notes to friends and multiple posts so that popups would get exposure were dealt with. Perhaps this is a strict approach but I will not let a good thing get shoved into a ditch. Pop ups will bring new people and we are responsible as forum owners to keep an eye on the visitors. Friends were mutually selected but a knock on the door by a stranger should keep forum owners alert. If you were not an Adlandpro member and you read a post here using profanity or language showing outrage about our topic then what would be the response? What would they think? They would not click on the pop up and would leave the premisis if they thought that was how we conduct our business on Adlandpro. Thank goodness everyone behaved here. People told us they did not like the popups but they did not slander Adlandpro. Remember pop ups are read by internet visitors not just Adlandpro members Ken, so glad you came back for a visit.
