i usually find pop ups a pain...anything a pop up can display....i believe can be place on one of the web site's pages....make a another page instead of annoying your audience... i usually leave the web site if there is an pop up...

Jenny, Thanks for contributing to our forum. You will note by the comments that many of the ol timers don't want to adjust and new people think it was always this way...so they accept them.

Mattt, We have pretty much solved the situation however, that sounds like a good idea. People could visit there but that would take them away from where they want to work. Any thoughts on that??

Hi Mary, I am not sure if I need to clarify here, but I will, just in case. When I said the original post was not of interest - I was not referring to this topic. This one I found very interesting but I was not able to get here any sooner. I had a sick child with a fever for a couple of days, so my time on the computer was limited, when I finally got here to this forum, there was already a solution but I couldn't resist letting you know why I like them. I made a post to a moderated forum once, it didn't show up in the forum at the time of posting and a few hours later I received an email to say that it had been approved and when I went to have a look, there it was. I don't know how it works but I imagine the moderater gets informed via email, reads it, if they like it, they hit an approve button and there it is. Anyway, that's how it makes sense to me. It would be interesting to know. You certainly have been very busy here. Regards

Well I don't know if I like them or not. At least they are not animated "shoot the monkey" pop-ups. As a pop-up goes they are nice, but like most people when I am on the 'net I can only do one thing at a time. If I get distracted to something else I forget what I was doing before I became distracted. So I will not quit adland just because of pop-ups, but on the other hand I could live without them. Bill
