Importance of Self-Esteem in Addressing Issues at Home
Imagine if your child came home with a bad report card, then which of these 3 alternative reactions will elicit a better response from the child.
A. Don't you know these grades are embarassing? Not one A or B grade? It is all C's and D's. We need to talk about what you need to do for the next report card so it is better than this one.
B. Let's take a look at the grades you got and talk about what happened and then let's discuss what you need to do to bring home a better report card next time.
C. I have no doubt that you can get all A's. Apparently something happened and you did not get any A's. Let's take a look at what you got, what caused it and what you need to do to get the A's you know you can.
'A' is a Negative reaction.
'B' is Positive reaction.
'C' is "Self-Esteem enhancing" reaction and will elicit the best response from the child.
Self-Esteem is a Powerful Motivator.
Achieving Wellness
We believe that to successfully achieve Wellness there is only one way: The Holistic Way.
The basis is simple. To achieve wellness we need 3 very important things:
1. A Reason to Live
2. A Reason to Live Well, and
3. A Reason to Live Long.
If we have clarity (comes from our Internal Programming) about why we want to live, live well and live long, then therin lies our motivation for maintaining discipline in our diet, fitness, stress management, and everything else.

Relationships: With whom would you prefer to have a relationship? A person with low Self-esteem or a person with high Self-esteem? That is a rhetorical question and you know the answer.
People like people with high Self-esteem. They make others feel good. They attract others like a magnet. They are not affected by negative comments and put-downs. That is because their Self-esteem is Internally-triggered and not externally-triggered. Learn more about 'Internal' Self-esteem. Click here.

Stress Management: To live life is to encounter challenges and challenging people. It is how we react to these challenges that creates stress and frustration. How we react is determined by our internal programming.
We do not control the challenges or the challenging people or what they say or do. But we do control how we react. Over the years we have become socialized and conditioned to react in certain ways. Changing how we react requires De-programming (un-learning) and then Re-programming (new learning.)
