Mi Querida Jenny, This is Luella. Thank you for your most marvelous post. The Fear of Change - Bingo! This is one that I find so very difficult to deal with. I will surely pick up the book you recommended. It has a familiar ring to it. I may have heard of it before. Kindest regards, Luella May and John Elliott, aka Oaky Wood

Hi Luellita, It is worth a read - it's very short. I was recomended it for my teenage son (who acutally read it because it was short)- but it was very good news for his mother too. I learnt a lot. The original is published by G.P. Putnam's Sons, New York. To be recommended to anyone who has to take the plunge and change anything in their lives. Take Care Jenny

I so needed this article. I am currently going through divorce and it's not a nice experience for sure. I do not fear the process but see it as life's grand path. I will learn, grow stronger and becoame a better person for it. Yes I have been through the it's all my fault stage ....but...it's not at all. It is time for one of my favourite quotes folks.... "Out of all adversity comes a seed of equal or greater opportunity" I awiat the outcome with a positive mind. You guys are awesome and this is simply the best forum. Keep em coming guys.

Bless your heart Chris. I have been so busy, I have just reached your post now. You are not alone my friend, there are a lot of people going through that transition and starting afresh. It is never one person's fault. There are so many reasons why a divorce occurs. Many times one partner simply outgrows the other and must move on. This is Luella by the way. But yes Chris, you are starting a brand new chapter of a brand new life like so many of us. Many of us are familiar with the feelings associated with divorce and they can be quite devastating. But the door behind you is closing. Look ahead in the fog you can make out a door. As each day goes by it will become clearer and clearer and behind that door is a magnificent life waiting for you. When you feel blue, look towards that door. Kindest regards, Luella May and John Elliott, aka Oaky Wood

Hello Judy, For some of us, this fear has to be worked through. Therapists? Like everything else. There are some good ones.... Some bad ones. This is Luella. Kindest regards, Luella May and John Elliott, aka Oaky Wood
