Hi Linda, I think this is an excellent article, and it is absolutely true ! :-) We all need this reminder, however, on a regular basis, because it is easy to fall back in our old traps. Keep up the great work, and never let the naysayers get the best of you.....you are way too valuable to all of us, and we love you! Hugs, Jill

Hey Lee, I'm glad you enjoyed Dr. Anthony's article. I have a lot of his work to share. Yes, I also believe we are each in control of our decisions and choices. And that is what shapes our lives day by day. Thanks for being here!

Hi Tom, I know you have heard, "When the student is ready the teacher will appear." It is certainly true that we are not all at the same place with regard to what we are wanting to attract into our lives. If we came here (to earth) to be negative to learn something or be an instrument for someone else to learn something through experience, then so be it. I said a long time ago with regard to my business that I am not in the convincing business - and this also applies to sharing any of my beliefs. We all have our own beliefs and our perceptions are based on our beliefs - and until we change our beliefs, we will continue to see the same things. Which may be just perfect! I am in a constant state of examining and eliminating beliefs that no longer serve me. Thanks for your kind words and participation here!

Hi, Tom, I enjoyed reading your post because it is a perfect illustration of what I was speaking about. Why can people not see that acknowledging and being empowered by the negative is not the same as being negative? People who strive do not do so because of any positive emotion - they strive because of very powerful negatives:- "I am not there yet" "I do not have enough............" "This is not to my liking" "I have not done my best" "I haven't achieved what I wanted to" and so on. Consider this little mantra used by many positive thinkers:- "Every day in every way I am getting better" a fancy way of saying "I am not there yet" Trying to put a positive spin on a statement is only self deluding. If you know that you need to do more - grab the negative aspect and put it to work for you. The life I have led has given me little reason to be positive yet I must be one of the most positive people around. The reason for this is that I do acknowledge and grasp the negative and I squeeze every bit of power out of it that I can. I do acknowledge that accepting the negative is a very sensible thing to do because, without it, I am incomplete. Without the negative - everything is incomplete. Don't shun it - embrace it and let it empower you. I have searched in vain for a single item that was ever invented to satisfy a positive.
