Thanks for sharing these thoughts! I agree that we are the ones largely in charge of our self esteem. We will constantly encounter negative people but being strong enough to stand your ground is important. We are all important and we all have something special to contribute to the world! I think in reply to the second thought that we hinder our blessings by being afraid to receive them from others. One can be thankful without becoming prideful and it is a sign of maturity when that distinction is made! We need to give our friends and family the permission and the freedom to share! Never try to do too much and never let everyone dictate your schedule! Prioritize, prioritize, prioritize! Thanks for this great forum Marilyn!
