Georges, dear Georges,
To be a Power member, is, I suppose to be in the lime light.
There is no need to send you congratulations – you have been recognized.
Aren’t you like the Ancient Greek in the Iliad on stage?
Homer described you in this ‘open air’ theatre – we sit in a semi-circle and listen to you.
Like all audience we listen and watch with passion as you spread in front of us your knowledge in such a way as only the ‘Ancients’ would.
Your words ‘dance’ and ‘sing’ all kind of antics, then you comment and respond to us, your audience.
Achilles had a shield, Georges. The shield told a story by itself – so unique and beautiful. Use the shield, my Greek friend…
Dance Georges as the ‘Ancient Greek’ would have done too! We are listening to the drums, we will whirl with you.
Today, I see you received an olive garland and a silver dagger.
In all friendship,
Caroline
