Dear Larry, May God bless you. I knew you would take care of this. I am very disappointed in the post in question. Insulting my friends by resorting to name calling is not something I am willing to tolerate. We should all be able to post our opinions and beliefs without fear of such hateful and despicable replies. It is called mutual respect. Thank You,

Larry, I would be devastated if I couldn't enjoy a light moment by reading your Weird Facts and the fun, silly things people post about them. I think we should all remember the old adage "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." I know that kids are hurt by name calling, but as an adult, I try not to let it bother me, nor am I intimitdated by it. Once in a while, if I'm in a less-than-blissful mood for some other reason, I allow it to bring me down to the same level and respond to it, which I always regret. Best to just let it roll off my back and know that the people whose opinions I value will discuss things rationally even if we disagree on what we're discussing. It's not a win/lose proposition, just a discussion. Cheri

Well Shannon Then maybe your "friends" should not attack others and not expect for a reply. If they can't take it, don't attack. I call's em as I see's em. Don't like it? TOUGH!

And for the amateur psychologists of the world, NO, it is not a "cry for help" it is a cleaned up version what I think of the person at the time. -------------------- "Reasonable men adapt themselves to their environment. Unreasonable men try to adapt their environment to themselves. Thus all progress is the result of efforts of unreasonable men." George Bernard Shaw ------------------- You may as well just speak your mind and let the consequence be damned for sugar coats and tippy toes will just dilute your brand You might as well just play your hand and jump into the fray Let those who aren't prepared to deal fold now and walk away You might as well be true to you and do the things you feel An honest view of who you are? Hey, might just close the deal The ones who truly "get" you are the ones who'll stick around And lives built based on fantasy aren't ever truly sound ------------------
