A simple practice of Gratitude
5/7/2006 10:56:14 AM
Good morning beloved friends, This weekend I have been camping at a local private campground with my husband and our two chihuahuas in our RV, which we call our Gratitude Chamber. We are only a few moments from our home, so we are back and forth and the RV is like having a vacation home to get away. I finally found a source for internet connection while I'm camping, so I am typing from my laptop. My husband just cooked us a breakfast of bacon and eggs on the grill outside. Yum! Now he has gone to take the little ones for a walk in the woods and I am writing to share with you a simple practice of Gratitude. Louise Hay says that when we express gratitude for what we already have we attract more of what we want. When we express gratitude for what we already have, our vibrations are raised and that is what allows us to attract more of what we want. We are like towers of light - beaming out vibrations of gratitude - and the Universe/God/Spirit is just waiting to provide what we are wanting to manifest. Gratitude is a simple spiritual practice. When I wake each morning (in that hazy first awareness) and again as I fall asleep at night (instead of counting sheep) I express gratitude for what I have in my life. I am grateful for this comfortable bed. I am grateful for a restful night's sleep. I am grateful for my husband beside me. I am grateful for these little chihuahuas who keep me in the "now." I am grateful for my new internet connection so I can keep in touch when camping. I am grateful for how good food tastes when we're camping. I am grateful for this silly fireplace in the RV that warms us in the morning. I am grateful for my camping neighbors. I am grateful for the inspiring music playing on the stereo system. I am grateful for my MDMC friends and other online friends. I am grateful for my business that allows me to work from anywhere. I could go on and on...and I DO. :) All of us have many things for which to be grateful. It is when we take a few moments to acknowledge and express gratitude for what we already have that we become powerful creators with the ability to attract to us more of what we want. I am grateful for YOU and YOU and YOU. What are YOU grateful for today? Tell us! PS - Have you joined our new Million Dollar Manifesting Circle?

Linda, Today I'm grateful for the gorgeous spring day outside, and that there are weeds in my garden which give me a compelling incentive to go out in it. And I'm always grateful for YOU! Cheri

Hi Linda, I envy you camping with your family. What a lovely way to spend an early spring week-end. Yes, gratitude is contagious and such a delight to spread around while negativity is so distructive. I work with a very negative person and she sure can tear us all down. If there is nothing wrong, she will create something to be negative about. Thanks for your reminder to look around us for the good.
