Hey Linda, thanks for putting clutter into perspective. I am a PACK RAT myself and I do clean up but I put everything right back because I keep saying to myself that "some day" I may need THAT etc!! Regards, Pauline Spence https://backoffice.stasite.com/affiliate.asp?id=84723

Linda, A member sent an email the other day that provides a simple method for removing clutter! They used cleaning, but I guess clutter could be simplified the same way. Go to documents, create a file named Clutter, send it to the recycle bin, then empty the recycle bin. Done! All the Clutter is Gone! Hey Linda, How about this? Think small. Think one thing at a time... and it may not be so overwhelming. For example, just imagine how great it will feel to look at your EMPTY and clean dining room table! If it is indeed junk mail, THROW IT AWAY. Or if you're not ready to throw it away, move it into a box and make a commitment to spend just 15 minutes a day going through that box until it is empty. I bet you can get a lot done in 15 minutes. Many times we don't tackle a task because it seems too big and too overwhelming... but we can chop away at it and make progress - 15 minutes at a time. Or even 5 minutes at a time. You can make 5 minutes for it, right? I know you can do it! And just IMAGINE how great you will feel!

Hey Pat, Thanks for that excellent suggestion. I agree completely. My husband tells me when I pick up our mail at the post office to throw away the junk mail THERE and not even bring it home. Having my dining room table clear is really important to me, so nothing stays there very long - except a big bowl of fruit in the middle - which is a sign of prosperity. If we just nibble away at the clutter 5 or 10 minutes at a time, we will get there. And your suggestion eliminates the need to clear at least one area of clutter. Blessings.
