Hi Kathy, How have you been? I have not been in country for months, but glad to be back and see what is going on in the world of networking. As to your question, yes, this is the killer for everyone, not getting discouraged. What I always say is this, you never know where the line is when you cross the finish line in the world of business, as it is never defined when you are in your own business. Goals are just that, and everyone should use them as a guideline, but you still never know when you will finally reach financial freedom, so don't give up is the best advice I can offer. Often just when you are most discouraged, about to quit, the ones who carry on are the 5%ers who really make it in their own businesses. If it was easy, everyone would be in their own business, so don't think it is easy, it is not. I have been in dozens of traditional as well as online businesses, and I never expected them all to succeed, but I never stopped looking for the best opportunities, and quitters will surely miss the best ones, so never give up. Be diversified, never put all your eggs in one basket, this we have all heard since children, and you know why, because it used good old common sense logic. If you drop your basket, all the eggs break, if you have two or more that you don't drop, you will have more unbroken eggs than broken ones. (g) Good luck to all, Mike

Hi Kathy! It is most definitely easy to get discouraged when it comes to any network marketing business. Heck, any business at all, for that matter. I have been working hard, for the last 9 years, to accomplish my goals, online. I've had my fingers in many pies; tried many things to grow my business. I've spent money on good advertising, and on bad. And I have made mistakes. To keep yourself on an even course, you have to focus on your goal, NOT the steps you need to take to get there. Learn from every failure. Surround yourself with others who have knowledge you need and lack. Work when you'd rather be doing something else. Exercise discipline. If you treat your business like a hobby, you will generate a hobbist income. If you treat it like a full time job, you will see positive results... more money. Above all though, you must keep your eye on the prize. It's like looking at and walking toward the light at the end of the tunnel. If you look down at your feet, you will stumble and fall. I have worked hard. I have realized a life long goal as a result of my hard work, because even when I stumbled and fell, I kept getting back up and continued to walk. YOU CAN DO IT TOO! That's all it takes. Determination! Keep your eye on the prize, your feet moving forward, and pick yourself back up if you fall. Have an awesome day! Trina http://www.ads-on-q.com/intro

Suggestions for discouragement from networking: If I had the answer, you & me both would be rich. So many folks these days are down on their attitude about coping in this category. I ask the question, what is happening that isn't working? Some years back I subscribed with a coffee buddy's venture, then with another coffee buddy and finally realized I wouldn't be going anywhere with them. On one night shift, I was introduced to the venture by a co-worker I now am passionate about. What was the difference? He offered support, ideas, excitement, passion that rubbed off, the occasional freebie, productive leads to mention a few. There's nothing as discouraging as unproductive or lifeless leads. If you're still with me, stay away from ventures that are gone after only bleeding people's money without a viable product. When I was using my vesture's product options and found the claims actually matched the performance with mine and others experiences, then I was encouraged that I had made the right choice. Getting a commission and bonus cheque for my efforts is also encouraging. Experiencing and knowing that tech support is always available is very comforting. "These guys are good". Having actual live and in person contact will never be replaced by the countless methods in technology we use so automatically. We need that warm firm handshake after a coffee or live phone call. My heart is not immune to a down day. It takes creativity and effort to stay focused on the positive. (Don't all call at once)
