Up-date on whats happening in my life right now. 2 months to go till the end of my college Course and the tension is building.....I am studying Art & Design at BTEC level and Fine Art at 'A' Level. I will be off to University in October. God willing. Still awaiting results on how my disability Living Allowance claim is going. Its up for its 3 yearly renewal. I know that they have to access these things but you would think that if people have an illness or disability that is permanent they would have some way of setting these awards to be for life instead of putting us through the turmoil of re applying every 3 years. it would cut down on their paperwork...... One of my websites has under gone a few changes and would love your feed back, By the way the background graphics are from my own collection of art work. I am thinking of trying to sell some of my work over the summer. I would love to here from any other artists to see what ideas they might have. Would it be better to produce a range of work or take commissions for one off art works? I am looking forward to the summer and my holiday. We are off to Ireland for my stepsons wedding in June. WHICH of your Websites Dee? I'd love to look the graphics you've done. I cant give any advice on the question of comissions or portfolios - it is bound to be different here in Europe. Here exhibitions are the most popular way a becoming known. I, personally, love comissions By the way - the disability allowance is just as bad here in Spain. They like to renew everything every few years too.. and I suspect they LOVE their paperwork. Here they think that we are all faking it (you know - the "Hey guys, it's time for my 3 year revision - they want to see if my leg has grown back" sort of thing. - you have to laugh or cry! And if this brings protests from one hundred and fifty government workers - I can only ask them what they are doing on the internet when they are meant to be working!
