Hi Kenneth, I think this is a good way for someone to start understanding him/herself more and to identify skills and experiences we have developed over the years and may not be conscious of. For myself, I am frequently surprised to find out that I know something I didn't know I knew until someone asked me a question about it. If I were doing a skills and knowledge assessment, I never would have thought of including it. I think many of us are like that - we know things we don't know we know until we start digging around a bit. Sometimes it helps to have a friend or business associate who has known us for some time to work with us when we develop our knowledge and skills list. They frequently will think of things we may not think of ourselves. I'm enjoying this series of articles. Thanks. All the best. Act on your dream! JD
