Hi Linda Well as you may or may not know Iceland was first occupied by Scandinavian vikings. The Icelandic Sagas, where we have all our knowledge from, say that the vikings where warriors and did not hesitate to kill one another if they were offended. These Sagas are great to read and I can reccomend them to everyone. Our culture is very western, we are not unlike you, the majority of Icelanders are Lutherins. Unfortunately I have never had the privilege of visiting Iceland. From the pictures and TV documentaries I have seen, the country seems beautiful. I would be very happy to make the trip someday. Best of luck to all. Don
