Re :Re: Fighting Against Child Abuse

Shirley I am so sorry you had to go thru that. I know I was abused as a child by my mom. My dad worked on the road alot so she would decide to take off. Us kids were then locked up in the basement until Dad would come home and find us. Usually 2 or 3 days after she had left.

My son was sexually molested by his kindergarten teacher last March. The police did nothing to her. She is still teaching in maine and she got off scott free. My son still has nightmares. He still has to see a counsilor. And in the meantime the police officer who was payed off to close the case is having a great old time.

Why anyone would ever touch a child I do not know. But I told my husband some day she will touch the wrong child and a parent will end it from ever happening again. We lost our home and moved here to NC to keep our son safe. I cry when I think of my home in maine that we had built together. But at least here my son is safe. We were harrased every day not just by the teacher but by the police officer who was investigating and by the superintendent. We had people shooting at our home at night. We had people breaking into our home and painting profanity on the walls.

And now our lives are fairly normal. We have a nice home now and I know Miss. Smith wont show up here. We also have just started a small org. called the child first it is for families of molested children.

I know it isnt big but if we can help just 1 family that is all that counts.

Hello Hilda,
You're so right with that!

So let us do whatever we can with this respect.
