WOW very interesting Linda. I for one value my friendships more then the dollar. If a dollar comes through Hooray. If not I understand because we must build friendships first. I enjoy my friendship with each & everyone of you.

Hi David; ====== If every adlander would just spend 1 dollar wiht every ohter adlander ... ====== Other than Peter's alchemy scents, I don't know who sells anything for $1... lol. And most people don't have $28,000.00 to spend on a whim, and since there's 28,000 members... heh... ain't likely. ====== No, this is not the place to find sales (customers) but as has been said in other posts its a good place to network. ====== I have heard this several times. ie; "It's no good for sales, but it's a good place to network." That actually confuses me. Maybe someone can explain what they mean? : ) L

I have to agree that Adland is definitely NOT the place to get customers, but I have to say, I have learned more here than any where else. What I have learned from both you and Peter is worth the membership.

Ooh.... now this gets interesting. Look at this....

Hi NOW this thread is getting interesting, especially by crossing from thread to thread. In the "95% fail rate thread, Heather asked..." ===== I know that "tone" and "inflection" are hard to gauge when posting online, so I am stating up front that I in no way am being a smart***. If the statistic of only 5% of MLM people making money is correct, why launch http://www.soy-simple.com? Isn't this also an MLM? ===== I posted a reply to say no, it's not an MLM. It's a home based business in which Peter actually handmakes the products right in our kitchen. But... THERE is an interesting question, and it did flag a thought for me. In other *non-marketing* forums and communities, no one asked if it's an MLM. At Adland, perhaps people "assume" that home business = MLM? I know I do - at least here. When someone says "I sell candles" odds are pretty good they sell Mia Bella. I go look to see - and sure enough, they do. lol At other places, when I say "home business" they assume "making in the kitchen"... An interesting train of thought, to be sure. And perhaps a good indication of the prevalence of NWM here? : ) L
