Kathy, this is such hard news. I will pray for Betty and her family, and I almost welled up at Lee's poem as well. I could never imagine losing my daughter. At the risk of sounding selfish, I think I'd be so utterly devastated. Thank you Lee for such a beautiful poem. And it warms my heart to see Adlanders come together this way in support of one in need of solace. Many Blessings Indeed.

Hi Kathy, Thank you for sharing these sad news; as one family here at Adland, we will continue our prayers for Betty's family. To Betty: I am very sorry for your loss on this earth but I rejoice with you for your gain with our heavenly Father. I know to well what you are going through as 25 months ago, I also lost my oldest son. Parents are not meant to bury their children. God loans them to us for an indefinite period of time and I am thankful (as you are I am sure) for the precious time you had with your daughter. I am not sad anymore but I miss terribly and all of the precious memories I have are etched in my heart forever. Let me give you a big hug and God will be with you. Louis
