Generally concuring with all the previous posts, I participate in more than one such community but do not experience the quality of community that is here at AdlandPro. One beef I have so far is that I only have one forum in AdlanPro but am unable to start another until I delete any inactive. The one & only forum I have is active so what's that? It would be good to have an indication from anyone here that has joined my Amsoil venture by using AdlandPro. When I see the list of new accounts getting longer by the day, I would love to see a comment that they where referred or redirected by AdlandPro. I've received email inquiries that said something about where they saw my web site or article showing my details. Such interaction takes communication, which is relatively positive and frequent here. Is there some clarification on - network marketers and "legitimate" marketers" that I missed? Perhaps it needs it's own discussion.

Linda, I am a member of another group, but very seldom go there. One of the reasons is like the simplicity of the Adland Pro and the fact that it is very user friendly. Of course we have the Helpfull (Friendly) list of users that is made up of people that are not afraid to step our of their comfort zone to give help to new members. http://community.adlandpro.com/friendlyUsers.aspx

Hi, Linda, I am a member of two other communities, three if you count the one I joined and then never went back due to time issues. Of the other two, one appears to be simply for introductions...there's no forum activity that I have found. The other is a community that should be as responsive as Adland, but one must be a professional (i.e. paid) member to use even the most basic services. I have not seen the need to upgrade yet, mostly because I found Adland. So...no comparison, for me. Adland is hands down the best. Cheri

Hi Linda, I pretty well camp out here in Adland Pro, especially since I stopped working full time just prior to our move. I did not have the time to spend much online when working full time. In the 4 months I have devoted more time here I have received some very valuable advice, tips etc and developed some fairly close friendships. I agree with Tim, with his post regarding our spiritual closeness and prayer for each other, offer moral support... and I could not have said it better. Kind regards Amanda Martin-Shaver

Linda, This is an interesting topic you have raised and as a Co-founder of an online community myself and also a business owner/networker, this is a thread that has drawn me out! :-) As you already know, I met you about 3 years ago (?) in another business networking community and it was the common interest of conversations around "law of attraction" that drew us together. (Or at least that would be my version of the story). :-) I would love to know more about what you said here: `` I have been a member for over two years and also have a network at another online community with close to 300,000 members that is not nearly as responsive as the members of Adlandpro, where I have been a member for less than a year. `` Can you say more about what you mean by "responsive"? Thanks! Above and beyond that, I joined adlandpro a few months ago, as a suggestion by you and admittedly, did not take the time to read the volumes of emails I started getting about the benefits. For me, it was information over-load. The owner of this site seems friendly enough and yet, what he says in his emails goes way over my head and too many words (for me). :-) So, I still do not understand the benefits. At the exact same time that I started receiving LOTS of emails from AdlandPro itself, I was bombarded with invites from "Friends" from this site and there was no relationshipping being done...no information about the person, themselves (no questions about me) and only advertising for their stuff. (The sort of "spamming" that is often done in communities, due to lack of knowledge on some folks' part AND/OR the difference in preference on my own part.) :-) So, my delete finger was pretty busy for the first week or so and if it had not been for my respect for you, I would have opted out of all mailings from this site, as a result. So, here is my question for those here and maybe there is another thread that would be more applicable and if so, I would love to read it, if someone could point it out to me. Thanks! Maybe it is the words that are used to describe what this is about that is confusing me? i.e. "Traffic" and "Banner" exchanges have always been described by internet marketing pros as a waste of time. So, that is sort of my "starting point" and am open to being educated. I do know networking and getting to know people is the way to go and as many have mentioned here, time is the issue. I have to constantly prioritize where and how I spend my time. What would you say would be the benefit of spending some time here? Any and all tips appreciated. Thanks tons! Pat
