Ok everyone, Stormpay has really gone overboard this time. Not only are they still holding million$$$$$ of several surfing sites (Studio Traffic is the latest to get hit) but they are now stopping all 'outside' money transactions. PayDotCom.com has removed them since Stormpay has placed new rules on the table. Read on. ========= From: Admin To: All vendors and affiliates RE: STORMPAY REMOVED FROM PAYDOTCOM Date: March 28th, 2006 Hi Kenneth Sword, This is a very important PayDotCom.com update. Please Read, it affects your account. On March 23rd, StormPay will no longer accept payments for sales made thru websites. Customers may no longer log into a StormPay account for the purpose of sending money to another online user, or “offsite” website sale. Because of this we have removed StormPay and all of its features and buttons from our site. Please take a minute to read their Policy Change... ========Begin Policy Change From StormPay ======== Important StormPay Policy Change: 23-Mar-2006 14:21 Dear Valued StormPay customer, Effective immediately StormPay Inc. will no longer accept payments for sales made outside of StormPay Auctions. If you are an online seller who wishes to sell your product or service through the StormPay system, your item must be sold using the StormPay Auctions feature. Listing in the StormPay Auctions is FREE of charge unless utilizing our inexpensive upgraded listing options. Q: Why has StormPay implemented this new policy? A: StormPay has rendered certain policy changes to insure a safer online experience for both buyers and sellers. This policy change allows StormPay to more closely monitor the products/services sold, insuring that sold items are within StormPay’s acceptable use policies. Under these new policy guidelines, customers may no longer log into a StormPay account for the purpose of sending money to another online user, or “offsite” website sale. All “spends” and “receives” are and only can be for the specific purchase of a user’s auction listing and successful purchase of. Subscriptions (recurring billing) is no longer supported by the StormPay system. All current subscriptions have been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We appreciate your business. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact us. StormPay Inc. ========End Policy Change From StormPay ======== For the time being, PayDotCom.com only supports PayPal users. We are now in development of a plug-in for Authorize.net and will have that completed in the near future. This will allow you to use your current PayPal account and/or take payments to your merchant account all while integrated with PayDotCom's affiliate and statistics system. We will update you on this development soon. - Your account balance Please login to your account now to pay your balance if you have one. You do not want to let this add up or lose service to the site. Thanks, Admin - PayDotCom.com ========== I think that if anyone left in Stormpay would all close their accounts they will eventually have to shut down. This will effect the support to the racetrack Stormpay sponsors and will quit feeding these crooks from any more money. All feedback is welcomed. __________ Newest Release: Podcasting For Fun & Profit! Podcasting Teleprompter - Make Yourself Sound Like A Pro!
