Hi Marilyn, My family already knows what I want. I want smiles and laughter and stories of all the fun things we have done together. I want a party not a wake where they can celebrate my life not grieve for it. They will probably miss me, but I didn't bring them up to cry over things, and I don't expect them to cry when I am gone. Life is so beautiful and if you live it to the fullest and leave behind a legacy of happiness and warm thoughts, there shouln't be a reason to feel sad, only to see death as a new adventure. Hi Marilyn, It doesn't matter much to me whether I live or die, I just want Shirley to be taken care of when I do go. People often cry at wakes and funerals but I am like you. I would rather hear music and laughter. At least than I'd know that I made at least some people happy. I'd probably have someone pass the cookie jar around, oh, wait a minute, it might have ashes in it. At any rate, I hope you have a lot of years ahead of you to make those plans. HI Sam, Everyone has there own way of what they would like to have done on their last day here. I personally have it all written down along with my health proxy ready for whenever it is my time to go!
