Hello Sister Marion, What an awesome story with a very important moral to it! I loved it! Everyone in the world should read this story...I don't know if it would have a profound effect on everyone, but I am sure that it would for the majority though! Nice story Marion, and with a twist in the tail. But not just a nice story, it is a tale with a strong moral. If I may go to the highest authority of all, The Holy Word of God Almighty we can see that it is a commandment to us. Check out these Scriptures in your own Bible. Galatians 5:14 You must love your neighbor as yourself Galatians 6:2 Go on carrying the burdens of one another Ephesians 4:31,32 Let all malicious bitterness and anger and wrath and screaming and abusive speech be taken away from YOU along with all badness. 32 But become kind to one another, tenderly compassionate, freely forgiving one another just as God also by Christ freely forgave YOU Philippians 2:4 …keeping an eye, not in personal interest upon just YOUR own matters, but also in personal interest upon those of the others 1Cor 10:24 Let each one keep seeking, not his own [advantage], but that of the other person.
