Hi Kathy!
I think about how far I have come, almost every day. I do this so that I never stop appreciating what I have, and to keep from feeling sorry for the things I don't have.
I have come a very long way.
I was once a very unhappy person, married to a drunken brute, working two jobs and trying to be a good mother to my very young son. I had no concept of my own worth.
Now I am divorced from the drunken brute, married to the love of my life, staying home to take care of two boys and my mother. My first son is now a happy 16 year old, and my youngest is 8 years old.
I work from home, doing what I love to do. And I now know exactly what I am worth, and feel very secure in who I am.
So, I feel that I have come a very long way. I know how bad life can be, and I appreciate just how good life is now.
Whenever I start to think that things are bad, I just remind myself of what life was like before, and I snap right out of whatever dark place I thought I was in.
Life is what you make it. If you're not where you want t be, then you gotta move.
My two cents Kathy.
Have an awesome day!
Trina
